my world.

I’m Gabriel Salcedo! I’m a fourth-year design student at the University of San Francisco, specializing in product design while exploring editorial, graphic, brand, and web design. Working across different areas gives me new ways to communicate ideas and create things for people.

A lot of my inspiration comes from what I interact with every day: music, video games, websites, and digital products. I want my work to serve a purpose while showing my personality. I’m still experimenting with different concepts and styles, discovering what feels like me and where my work can go.

Working on projects like the USF Policy Lab website has helped me understand how designing for a client differs from designing for myself. Collaborating with other designers and stakeholders has pushed me to communicate my ideas clearly, stay open to feedback, and make thoughtful decisions based on the people the design is meant to serve.
